Yacht Controller LLC announced today a new generation transmitter for its popular Yacht Controller system, which allows a user to have wireless total control of his yacht from anywhere on board.

The new transmitter employs an ergonomic design, and a new technology of rubber silicon membrane switches, allows a user to instantly identify which switch he is operating by touch alone without having to visual confirm it. This allows full concentration and total visual operation during the docking and or maneuvering of his yacht. Additionally it has increased range of 450 feet and is waterproof and floats.

This silicone lever switch membrane contact flat circuitry technology, pioneered by Yacht Controller, provides the ultimate in ergonomic water proof switching which is sure to become a new industry standard.

The Yacht Controller system allows the user to control engine gearshifts, bow thruster, stern thruster and anchor for easier maneuvering and docking of a yacht. Winner of the NMMA (National Marine Manufacturers Association) award for innovation in 2004, more than 2500 Yacht Controllers have since been installed on 105 brands of yachts ranging in size from 33 to 123 feet including Palmer Johnson, Hatteras, Carver, Mainship, Sea Ray, Azimut, etc. and can be seen at a number of yachts at the show.
